How do I get the best rate possible?

Signing up for the longest term possible will get you the lowest possible rate. It will also keep you at that fixed rate for the entire duration of the contract, which will keep that rate low for a long time.

If I want to cancel my plan or change my electric company, can I?

Yes! Please feel free to email us any questions in regards to changing plans or moving to a different company. Clients are responsible for paying any and all early termination fees.

Do I need to worry about renewing my electricity contract?

No! Once you are enrolled in our program, we will contact you within two months of your contract expiration date and renew you ourselves! You do not need to worry about contacting the electric company.

What does Sunbelt Solar do?

Sunbelt Solar is a Texas-certified electricity aggregator based in Laredo. We negotiate lower electricity rates for homes and businesses by comparing offers across multiple licensed retail electric providers, then manage your contract and renewals for you.

No. Despite our name, Sunbelt Solar does not install solar panels. We are a licensed electricity aggregator and broker that helps you lower your electric bill by finding better supply rates from retail electric providers.

Our service is free to you. Sunbelt Solar is compensated by the retail electric providers, so there's no fee to have us find and manage a lower electricity rate for your home or business.

Yes. We specialize in commercial and industrial accounts, aggregating larger electricity loads to negotiate lower per-kWh rates and favorable contract terms for businesses across Laredo and deregulated South Texas.
